History of buddhism in India (2 h/w)
History of buddhism in China (2 h/w)
History of buddhism in the world (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, South East Asia, Korea, Japan, Tibet, Europe, America, Australia, Africa) (10 h/w)

3rd Year :

The scholars of the southern Buddhist school (1 h/w)
The scholars of the northern Buddhist school ( 2h/w)
History of Indian philosophy (2 h/w)
History of Chinese and Tibetan philosophy (2 h/w)
Essentials of the Agama sutra (2 h/w)
Essentials of buddhist studies (2 h/w)
Essentials of buddhist rules and disciplines (2 h/w)
The different schools of Indian Buddhism (2 h/w)
Brief overview of the difference schools of chinese buddhism

4th Year :

The origin of the Sunyata doctrine (1h/w)
Essentials of the Mahaprajnaparamita sutra (1 h/w)
The nature of the phenomena after the Mahaprajnaparamita texts

Buddhist logic (Nyayadvaratarkasastra  and Madhyamikakarika)

The origin of the Yagacara doctrine (the conciousness school)

During the 4 years, students are expected to learn some of the following languages: French, Japanese, Tibetan, Pali, Sanskrit and classic Chinese.

The Buddhist Studies Bachelor degree course last 4 years. During their 1st year, students are expected to learn mainly English and Chinese ( so that they may follow later the lectures directly in these two languages)
